Winter Fuel Payment and Pension Credit information

The government is changing Winter Fuel Payments into a means-tested scheme that will only apply to those in receipt of other benefits. You can check if you are eligible here:  www.gov.uk/winter-fuel-payment/eligibility

Other help with heating bills

Cold Weather Payment - For those is receipt of certain benefits and if the temperature drops to zero degrees Celsius or below for 7 days in a row: www.gov.uk/cold-weather-payment 

Warm Home Discount - a £150 discount on bills for those who receive Pension Credit or live in a low-income household: www.gov.uk/the-warm-home-discount-scheme

Household Support Fund - grant to help people living in Sheffield with food and energy costs: www.sheffield.gov.uk/cost-of-living/apply-household-support-fund
